McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce

Benefitting local area residents and more than 650 member businesses, the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce provides programs and services that enhance the local business community’s growth and development and improve the quality of life for those who live and work in the greater McHenry Area.

The Chamber contracted MyDesignSpace to redesign its outdated website and ramp up its search engine optimization. The MDS team developed an eye-catching, mobile-friendly website integrated seamlessly into the ChamberMaster web application. MDS also built two custom widgets that convert raw event data into a stylized community calendar and upcoming chamber events module.

Other highlights included CSS styling of the password-protected member-only information center (MIC); development of custom Uber dropdown menu; embedding videos; setting up a news and knowledge blog; creating an ad serving system to generate additional revenue; and training members on benefits of Enhanced Member Listing pages
